Hello! I’m Sylvie, a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at Stanford University School of Medicine.

My doctoral research is centered around investigating the biological, environmental and social factors associated with healthy aging, with a focus on stroke survivors. I am interested in leveraging digital technologies to enable older adults to participate in studies remotely despite potential physical or cognitive limitations.

Additionally, I want to utilize diverse data sources to measure aging risk factors that are not typically captured in epidemiological studies.

I completed my bachelor’s in Molecular and Cellular Biology, with a concentration in Neuroscience, at UC Berkeley.
